Gender equality and mental health advocate
Tarang Chawla is a writer, anti-violence campaigner, mental health and gender equality advocate. Tarang founded the Not One More Niki Movement - Australia's largest campaign to end violence against women in culturally diverse communities, named after his younger sister Nikita who was murdered in 2015. Tarang has vast experience in facilitating and is a highly sought after speaker. He has been awarded multiple honours for his incredible work including Young Australian of the Year Finalist, and Top 25 Most Influential Australians working for Social Change. He has been a founding board member for the Victorian Government's Victim Survivor's Advisory Counsel and has been recently appointed a Commissioner of the Victorian Multicultural Commission.
