Sian Lewis took up the role of Group Executive, Human Resources on 1 August 2018. Sian joined Commonwealth Bank in 2014 and had previously led more than 2,500 people across our customer contact centres.

Sian is focused on helping the Bank ensure our people and communities are skilled for the future, that we offer the very best experiences for employees, and that CBA’s culture is anchored in our values of care, courage and commitment. She is also committed to promoting employee wellbeing and supporting an inclusive and diverse workforce.

Prior to joining CBA, Sian spent nine years at Westpac, working across retail and business banking in strategy and distribution roles, including as General Manager of the NSW retail network. Ten years as a consultant with KPMG also gave Sian extensive exposure to a wide range of industries leading major programs of people and cultural change across Europe and the Americas.

Originally from the UK, the first 10 years of Sian’s career were in HR.
