Dr Sojo’s research focusses on four areas: (i) factors that facilitate and hinder gender equality in occupational and sport contexts, such as incivility, gender and sexual harassment, work-family conflict, and unconscious bias in talent management; (ii) the design, implementation and impact of diversity management/social and economic inclusion strategies, for example, anonymous applicant procedures and Indigenous preferential procurement; (iii) leadership development in the public sector; and (iv) the impact of gender inequality on public health outcomes. He works with government and private sector organisations to develop evidence-based policies and practices. His research has been published in top-tier journals such as the Leadership Quarterly, Social Issues and Policy Review, Psychology of Women Quarterly, British Journal of Sport Medicine, The Lancet, and Harvard Business Review.
